Choosing between a carbon laser facial and pigmented lesion removal depends on whether you are seeking overall skin rejuvenation & pore refinement or targeting specific, dark spots. Carbon Facial is best for oily skin, acne reduction, reducing large pores, and an instant "glow". It uses a carbon mask and laser to exfoliate, improve texture, and stimulate collagen with virtually no downtime. Pigmented lesion removal is best for specific, targeted spots such as sun/age spots, freckles, and moles. Using precise, high-intensity laser energy to break down melanin, does have downtime as the spots may darken, scab, and flake off within 3 weeks.
using ultra-short, picosecond pulses to shatter ink into tiny particles, removing all colors faster and with less pain than traditional lasers. It works on all skin types and colors in fewer sessions, with minimal downtime.

Tattoo removal works by using laser technology to break down the ink particles in the skin. Once we have shattered the ink molecules with the laser your white blood cells will come in and start carrying it away using your lymphatic system to process the ink out of your body. This process is fast for some people and slow for others, everyone is different. Tattoo ink is not regulated by any agency, because of that we never know what is actually in your ink. Multiple treatments are required, and treatment intervals are generally spaced every 6-8 weeks. The degree of fading depends on the amount of pigment, depth of pigment, and color among other factors. This makes it hard to predict how fast or slow it will fade and how it will react with the laser. Tattoo removal is not something you can run in and get rid of in a session or two, it is a long term commitment. After the treatment the area will be covered with second skin tattoo bandage or gauze if you prefer. You will need to stay out of the sun for the next few days, or wear clothing that covers the area.
Sweating will help your body speed up the removal process. So go hit the gym, go for a run or if you have access to a Sauna go a couple times a week. It will make a difference. Drink lots of water!
You have come to the right place. I have removed hundreds of eyebrows, It is very similar to tattoo removal except the ink is made to fade. The number of sessions really depends on how many times you have had your eyebrows touched up.
It normally takes 2 or 3 sessions but just like tattoo ink you never know what is in it, sometimes there are metals in the ink and when the laser hits metal it oxidizes, meaning it rusts. If you have metal your eyebrow ink will turn a rusty red color and will require an additional session or more to correct.
There may be some minimal breakage of your natural hairs due to the heat of the laser. This is not a hair removal laser, that is a different machine. However, my laser does go after pigment. The color in your natural hairs is pigment. You may end up with lighter hairs, or even blond hairs. You can go have your eyebrows tinted or wear makeup the following day if needed.
After the treatment you may be a little swollen and a little red and irritated looking in the area that was treated. The laser does open your pores so I will apply ointment to seal the pores and rehydrate your eyebrow hairs. There may be some swelling, some people swell more than others. If you feel you need to ice the area or even take an antihistamine or pain reliever to make you more comfortable.. do it. This reaction is normally gone by the next day and you can start wearing makeup if you choose. Stay out of the sun for a few days, wear a hat or sunblock.
If after 6 weeks you eyebrows are still dark you may need another session. If you are planning to have your eyebrows re-micro bladed I suggest sending your eyebrow artist a picture and they can decide if you need another session or if they think you are ready for your next set of brows.
Yes, but it is very fast. Depending on your pain tolerance it can feel like being popped with a rubber band. Most feel it is similar to but more painful than getting a tattoo, however most people tolerate the procedure well.
Cryogen is used to even out the heat of the laser reducing the risk of skin damage. It is just really cold air to numb the area before and while doing your laser treatment. This significantly minimizes the pain associated with tattoo removal. I do not use numbing cream nor do I sell it. But... you are more than welcome to purchase and use some if you feel you need to do so. I suggest a cream with 5% or more lidocaine. Apply an hour and a half before your appointment and wrap with plastic wrap so it does not dry out. If it dries out it will stop working. It will be removed when you arrive, clean skin is required during the treatment.
To provide comfort you can apply a Cool compress to the treated are. The area will need to be kept moist until the scab/crust falls off. An antibiotic cream or Aquaphor can be used. The skin underneath where the scab/crust falls off will be pink. The normal skin color will return with time. Sunscreen with a SPF of 50 or more must be kept on the skin and reapplied several times through out the day especially if you are going to be in the sun. Keep hydrated water is your friend.
Laser hair removal works by emitting a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. This light converts to heat, damaging the follicle to inhibit or delay future hair growth. There are 3 phases to the life cycle of hair, the laser only can give an effective treatment by hitting the hair when it is in it's active growth phase, requiring multiple sessions for lasting, effective results.
